About the Role:
Neovera is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented individual to lead our Microsoft Azure & Windows infrastructure team. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire infrastructure landscape, architecting solutions, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring optimal performance, security, and compliance. This role demands a blend of technical prowess, leadership acumen, and the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of 4-6 infrastructure specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Plan and execute large-scale migrations of systems from private infrastructure to public cloud platforms (especially Azure)
  • Spearhead the design, implementation, and ongoing management of our Microsoft Azure and Windows infrastructure, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Possess extensive experience with Azure services, including VMs, networking, storage, security, and automation tools.
  • Demonstrate in-depth understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows Server administration.
  • Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot servers and services in our private vSphere infrastructure and in customer Microsoft Azure tenants.
  • Support applications that run on Windows Server operating systems
  • Define and implement infrastructure best practices, adhering to security and compliance regulations.
  • Proactively identify and address infrastructure challenges, developing and implementing solutions for optimal performance and scalability.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in Microsoft Azure and Windows technologies, advocating for continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Work with monitoring tools; manage access and permissions; script and automate where possible.
  • Partner with other IT teams (e.g., network, security) to ensure seamless integration and collaboration.
  • Clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Develop and manage project budgets and timelines, delivering projects on time and within budget.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in managing and supporting Microsoft Azure and Windows infrastructure environments.
  • Proven track record of leading and motivating a team in achieving organizational goals.
  • Strong understanding of Azure core services, including VMs, networking, storage, security, and automation tools.
  • In-depth expertise in Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows Server administration.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative, while also being a team player.
  • Passion for staying updated on the latest Microsoft technologies and trends.

Other desired knowledge, skills or attributes:

  • Azure certifications are a plus
  • Experience working with the Azure service stack (PaaS) a plus
  • Experience in working with or for a MSSP
  • Curiosity and strong desire to constantly learn
  • A self-starter with the ability to work in a fast paced and ever-changing environment
  • Strong ability to balance multiple priorities in a high demand environment
