About the Role:
The company is seeking a Professional Services Engineer with relevant experience to join the U.S. tech team. The position will report to the Lead Applications Engineer. It represents an exceptional opportunity for a result-driven individual in a new niche but exploding market. This role is primarily focused on directly supporting customers, resolving technical issues, and assisting in technical functions as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer technical support through phone, email, or in-person communication and thoroughly track these interactions through the JIRA ticketing system
• Assist customers in optimizing system performance to deliver the best overall experience possible
• Coordinate escalation with internal engineering teams when necessary
• Complete customer system installations onsite at customer locations to include physical installation, software configuration, and validation testing
• Troubleshoot technical issues involving radio frequency, IP networking, and/or Linux command line
• Deliver training courses to customers and partners
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of current technology and customer use cases
• Support customer technical demonstrations
• This role requires up to 50% travel, 25% is typical

Requirements

• BS degree in relevant technical discipline and 3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and practical experience
• Comfortable operating in a Linux environment with a solid fundamental understanding of networking, systems, and software
• Experience with networked devices, telecommunications, radio frequency, electronic warfare, or machine learning/ artificial intelligence systems
• Excellent customer-facing soft skills and ability to deliver in high-pressure, technical environments
• You keep yourself up to date with the latest technologies, tools, and methods to be effective in your role
• Previous experience working in the Defence industry is highly favourable. Relevant experience working in industries such as medical, aerospace or IT are also favourable
