About the Role
The company is seeking a Solutions Engineer with relevant experience to join the U.S. tech team. The position will report to the Lead Applications Engineer. It represents an exceptional opportunity for a results-driven individual in a new niche but exploding market. This role is primarily focused on engaging with customers and partners, presenting technical information, and developing solutions tailored to customer needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the pre-sales process by providing succinct technical information to customers and internal team members
  • Generate and provide technical presentations and proposals throughout the sales process
  • Generate and demonstrate a deep understanding of DroneShield’s product offering, solutions, technology, and roadmap
  • Answer customer Requests for Information and Requests for Proposals
  • Prepare and lead technical product demonstrations for customers
  • Assist partner integration and collaboration efforts
  • This role requires up to 50% travel, 25% is typical.

Requirements

  • BS degree in a relevant Engineering discipline (Communications, Computer, Electronics, Mechanical or equivalent), similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Solutions Engineer or equivalent role
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities including customer-facing, in-person, and technical presentation experience
  • Comfortable operating in a Linux environment with a solid fundamental understanding of networking, systems, and software
  • Experience with networked devices, telecommunications, radio frequency, electronic warfare, or machine learning/ artificial intelligence systems is highly favorable
  • Previous experience working in the Defense, Aerospace, or Public Safety industries is highly regarded
