What They're Building

Corsha’s API Security Platform is a highly innovative solution for API Identity and Access Management that provides next-generation authentication security, connection visibility, and control of APIs. The platform stops unauthorized access to systems/services in automated pipelines and pins the ability to communicate to only trusted machines through automated, dynamic multi-factor authentication (MFA) for APIs. Their platform helps federal and commercial customers secure their APIs in a wide variety of contexts, such as hybrid cloud, IoT deployments, and CI/CD pipelines.

The team at Corsha has a new, beautiful office located in Tyson’s, Virginia. Their technical team is “hybrid.” Of the 13 full-time technical employees, some are in the office every day, some are 100% remote (including 3 who live out of the DC area), and some come into the office 2-3 times per week and work remotely the other days.

Their team is serious about their work and works hard, but they also have a fun, collegial environment. Employees who commit to at least 3 days per week in the office get a dedicated office space. For those who are in less often, there are floating spaces. They have a mix of private offices and open spaces and enjoy frequent team lunches and gatherings. The team uses Zoom to loop in people who are remote.

Diversity and inclusion is a key part of Corsha’s ethos. Their employee base cuts across many different demographics, cultures and backgrounds. They are committed to continuing to foster diversity.

Technical Team

The tech team consists of 13 full-time employees. The team is fairly flat in terms of hierarchy and structure, with all team members currently reporting to Anusha Iyer, who is the CTO and President.

The team has three primary groups: Engineering/Product; Infrastructure; and Quality Assurance/Test. There is a Lead for each group. The team follows Agile development practices.
