About Digital Envoy

Launched in 1999, Digital Envoy introduced the concept of privacy-sensitive IP-based geolocation and IP intelligence, allowing businesses—from ad networks to publishers to websites to retailers and more—to harness the power of location and new intelligence about connected users for a multitude of mission-critical applications. Taking more of a background role, in 2005 Digital Envoy introduced two divisions to help best address the unique needs of its diverse audience segments and business applications: Digital Element, which was created to continue the legacy of providing global geolocation data and services that bring anytime, anywhere relevance and context to online and mobile initiatives; and Digital Resolve, which was launched to deliver solutions that proactively secure online accounts, information, transactions and interactions from login to logout.

In 2021, Digital Envoy acquired Outlogic, providing Digital Envoy with high quality, consent-based location data to further enhance its offerings in Fraud Prevention, VPN/IP Proxy, and Digital Rights Management Solutions. Digital Envoy and Outlogic have a shared mission to enrich their clients’ decision making and innovation by providing the world’s most valuable IP and location intelligence, while preserving the safety and privacy of consumers.

Core Values:

  • Gritty – We expect to give our best in order to achieve outstanding results, while also realizing results alone are not a substitute for humility and a “Whatever it takes to get things done” mindset
  • Ethical – We hold ourselves to the highest standard of integrity, doing what we should – not just what we can – by staying centered on privacy and honoring our responsibility to our stakeholders
  • Others-Centered: We value others ahead of ourselves by actively listening, caring genuinely, and doing all we can to help clients and co-workers – not simply paying lip service
  • Transparent: We respect one another and as a result, we communicate openly, forthrightly, and frequently so that we stay aligned to our common purpose
  • Innovative: We embrace the creative process as our lifeblood and recognize that good ideas can come from anywhere and are best refined by collaboration and critical examination
  • Passionate: We love what we do, who we do it with and who we do it for, and consequently go above and beyond with our effort and dedication to achieve excellence

Company Culture

About the Technical Team:

Their Engineering & Technology organization has 40+ team members — this includes Software Engineers, QA, DevOps, Data Scientists, and Data Engineers.

One half of their Engineering & Technology team is focused on building a suite of solutions that allows their customers to pinpoint the user’s geographic location only using IP addresses using their patented technologies. In addition, they provide numerous other actionable insights such as proxies, demographic data, and connection types. This data has a broad range of applications for their customer base including digital rights management, advertising, fraud mitigation and reporting. They also provide an online fraud detection platform, built on their base IP technology, that protects online channels for banks, credit unions and non-profit organizations.

The other half of their Engineering & Technology team is focused on creating solutions that enable accurate collection and processing of location data, which empowers the team at Digital Envoy and their clients to generate meaningful insights that solve a wide array of problems across ad-tech, fin-tech, smart cities, real estate, cybersecurity, social impact, etc.
