- Strategic Innovation Group (SIG): The SIG is a multi-purpose entity nested within the Chief Operations Office. The SIG provides a select group of high-performing analysts and engineers with an opportunity to experiment and develop outside of client facing work. The SIG performs as a Business Development resource to leverage ideas and possible solutions in various spaces. And the SIG serves as an incubator for home-grown ideas (sort of like a “shark tank”) to take employee-driven analytic service and product ideas to market with the appropriate business support.

Technical Team
At JDSAT, we have two types of teams – one is the “Products” team and the other is the “Services” team. The Products team is oriented around building software/data products that have a longer time horizon (e.g., simulation models, data warehouses, cloud capability, etc.) and the Services team is oriented around building products that provide immediate value (e.g., dashboards, web proofs-of-concept, quick turn analysis, etc.)
