Location Policy

Their team is currently a fully remote organization, with physical offices in Seattle, New York, and Raleigh. Most of their locations have co-working space where employees can gather to work together if they care to. They anticipate moving to a flexible hybrid model to allow more collaboration in 2022.

What They're Building

Customers and employees are demanding higher and higher levels of self-service experiences (think call centers, virtual assistants and chat), which require sophisticated natural language interactions that today’s chatbots and knowledge management systems can’t deliver. Pryon automates the AI model-building process, so companies can benefit from supercharged knowledge management within a day to better meet partner, customer, and innovation demands.

Company Culture

The team holds daily 15-30 minute standups at 9:30am PST
They use bitbucket deployments using Google’s deployment manager to deploy to their cloud environments. Their environments have different deployment schedules ranging from on-demand to pre-scheduled based on customer feature/fix development. Each engineer is empowered to deploy software to all of their environment based on peer review and approval.
