Afsaneh Mashayekhi Beschloss, an Iranian-born American businesswoman, taught international economics at Oxford before becoming treasurer at J.P. Morgan and CIO at the World Bank. She then became a managing director and partner of the Carlyle Group and president of Carlyle Asset Management.
Early on, she realized the power of data, technology, and innovation to transform the investment landscape. In 2002, she founded RockCreek group to do just that.
Today, RockCreek is a leading global investment firm driven by cutting-edge data science. Their clients are foundations, endowments, universities and pension funds looking for data-driven, sustainable, impact investing. The team is built around diversity, transparency, and curiosity.
